Women In Coaching Soccer

We know how important it is for young girls to have successful role models within the game. We are excited that our Canadian National Women’s Team are so successful on the international level. However, we are very aware that we have amazing women playing and coaching soccer here in the Yukon.

We held our first Women In Coaching Soccer clinic at the Canada Games Centre turf field on Sunday, December 12. This was an exciting couple of hours of sharing and learning. We explored instructional strategies, played tag and many other low organization games, and we were able to dig deeper into how we aree building vision and awareness references with the youth players in WUFC and in the Yukon.

We hope to hold another Women In Coaching Soccer clinic early into the new year and it is our goal to see the numbers continue to grow. See you soon.
