FUTURES

This year WUFC would like to introduce an exciting new opportunity for girls born between 2011-2004. We are calling this program Futures. 

It is a well established fact that team sport involvement supports positive mental health. It’s also been demonstrated that most girls value camaraderie and a sense of belonging above all other things when asked why they play sports. The hope is that the Futures program will allow girls of many ages to feel included and part of something larger. 

The Futures program will take place 3 Sundays per month for 1.5 hours. Some activities will involve the group as a whole, all mixed up together. Other sessions will see the whole group doing the same activity but divided up by age into different parts of the fieldhouse. The programming for the year will be set out ahead of time by the technical director of the club, Neil Sedgwick. The focus will be on development of a shared soccer language and experiences.

Player Limit:

Due to the limited space, we must also limit the registrations to field capacities so please register early (As of September 19 the limit is 50 for the CGC).
